Union Ware

Union Ware is a Winnipeg based company that closely works with Unions of all types and sizes across Canada and the United States. They have clients visiting their office on a regular basis, so the owner wanted the renovation to modernize the building both aesthetically and functionally. The existing building had tyndall stone accents on the exterior, so we chose to add some charcoal and stainless steel cladding and corrugated profiles to create a clean and streamline look. Moving to the interior of the space, the renovations included a large open work space with new glazing, private offices, lunchroom, lounge space, a workout facility with shower/ change rooms and a large multimedia board room. The minimalist approach was also carried through to the interior with the use of neutral colors, red accents, modern furniture, millwork and polished concrete floors. For the open office area we kept an exposed ceiling painted black with 2 large suspended acoustic ceiling tile clouds.
