Manitoulin Transport

Manitoulin Transport has a very extensive transportation network throughout North America. They are a single source carrier with a wide array of trucking services including truckloads, trans-border, intermodal, private fleet, guaranteed service, temperature controlled, dangerous goods and supply chain management. Their new Winnipeg location consists of a 33,120 sq.ft cross dock facility with 55 loading doors, plus adjacent auxiliary space including a 2 storey office, logistics department, dispatch, drivers lounge, and driver’s change facilities. In order to accommodate the trailer height, the cross dock top of floor was set at 47” above grade. As per the client’s request we installed Kelley Safe Frame dock levelers and Rigid Frame truck shelters for all 54 of the dock doors. The neutral color palette for the building exterior creates a simplistic, modern feel. As you approach the front office you are welcomed by a vertical feature comprised of cultured stone and ribbed metal siding, with an intersecting entrance canopy and aluminum glazing. The rest of the facade consists of 2 toned Efis and standard metal siding for the warehouse.
